About Rumbidzai

Rumbidzai Venge has been an attorney for more than a decade having obtained her Bachelor Degree at the University of South Wales in 2010. While at University, Rumbidzai developed her passion for the Campus Career Service Centre and towards initiatives such as the Pontypridd Citizen’s Centre in the Rhondda Valley Borough of South Wales.

Upon returning to Zimbabwe, Rumbidzai worked at three private practice firms in Harare before joining the Firm as a Partner. During this preceding time, she gained a  wealth of experience in Immigration Law, Labour Law, Intellectual Property, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Civil and Criminal Litigation. due to her international exposure, Rumbidzai also garnered expertise in Corporate advisory especially with regards to compliance for foreign companies for foreign companies as she acted for several enterprises from China, Scotland, United Kingdom and the Southern African region. Her exploits in Family Law field have seen her obtain precedent settings judgments such as the one against the then Minister of Energy and Power Development Mr. Samuel Undenge which ruled in favour of maintenance for offspring above the age of eighteen. Most notably, Rumbidzai is one of the leading Media Law attorneys in Zimbabwe and she has represented numerous national and international artists such as the Jamaican Dancehall Superstar, Busy Signal.

Beyond the legal profession, Rumbidzai is an accredited journalist. She has worked for Alpha Media Holdings on its digital radio station Heart and Soul as a presenter on an online program called Legal Matters in 2017 – 18. From there, Rumbidzai joined Capitalk FM, a commercial radio station where she currently hosts Start Up capital Capitalk’s Breakfast Show. Affectionately know as the Legal Bae, Rummbidzai is arguably the fore most legal brand in the Zimbabwean media space. Unsurprisingly, Ms. Venge is the face of the Firm and currently, our Head of Public Relations.

Rumbidzai is a member of the Law Society of Zimbabwe who is passionate about the law and its impact on community development in general and Treasurer for the Zimbabwe women Lawyers Association. Prior to that, she served as the youngest President for the Rotary Harare West Club District 9210 in 2018 – 19.

Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia.
